Talk. About. Perfection.

A lot of people look at that building and think that there’s no way that something so ugly could ever be beautiful again. But from the first time we saw it, we knew that she had some beauty left in her. And over the past few months, we’ve put everything into it. With the help of our neighbors we took out tons upon tons of trash. Decades of neglect was erased. And the former glory was reintroduced to the world. In a few days, we’ll be throwing the biggest party of the year and we’ll be doing it somewhere we’re proud to call home. While, we’re not going to show you the inside, just yet, take a little preview of all the work that was put into the outside. Now that you’ve seen that, I have one more surprise. Is this what a miracle looks like?

A few minutes ago I posted on Twitter that I worked with some of the most impressive people in the world yesterday to change an old hangar in Brooklyn into the foundation of something incredible. I said thank you, but honestly, thank you can’t even begin to express what it meant to me. We filled five, four-ton dumpsters with trash from decades of neglect at Hangar 1 in Floyd Bennett Field. One of the massive hangar doors fell off of its tracks and almost hit a few people working inside. By some miracle, no one was seriously hurt and ...

Today’s the day it all starts. We’ve bought a hangar in Brooklyn and we need help from you to get things moving. If you always wanted to connect, always wanted friends to celebrate life with, always wanted something you couldn’t define, this is where you should be. Life is all about the people you connect yourself with and for a lot of us it’s hard. It’s hard to find real meaning in life and it’s even harder to find a place that lets you just be you. That’s what we’re building and we want you to be a part of it. While the first stages of all of this will be hard work, it’s only the start and the rewards will be bigger than anything else you could possibly imagine. Head to Hangar 1 at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn starting today, Feb 2nd, 2008 to start work on the biggest party of the year. If you come and help clean up the space, you’ll get a wristband that will get you into the event in March and meet with a group of like-minded people to create something really special. We’ll be th...
